I walk into the living room (which is only a few steps away) and lo and behold, my little boy is staring at the TV screen dancing, and when I say dancing, I mean getting down, boogying it up, and all out impressing with some fab moves.
“Lewie, how did you change the channel?” I barely got the last word out when I noticed that I didn’t put the remote control in its normal hiding spot. It was out on the sofa in plain sight. “Of course, that’s how.”

Somehow he managed to switch Nick Jr. to one of the dance stations we get as part of our AT&T U-verse package. How he managed that one, I have no idea since Nick Jr. is on 320 and the dance music is on 5001. (He’s not that adept at using the remote control since we usually hide it.) Anyways, my little boy wasn’t the least bit disappointed with his selection as he kept clapping his hands, tapping his feet, and twirling away in splendor. It was quite a moment.
Lol the picture cracked me up! It's funny how they can randomly press the buttons and something to happen. At least he didn't change it to something horrible! We keep our remote out of reach as well, but sacrified our DVD remote to her, so she can have one to play with.
ReplyDeleteYup, Nick Jr. pretty much trumps all in this house! Am now following!
ReplyDeleteHello! Well.. I just want to say thanks for being my first comment on my blog! As you can probably tell.. I'm new to this whole blog thing.. so any tips you have...that would be good! Anyways, I do get a 75% discount at my school for being an employee.. Working here isn't what I'd ideally like to be doing, but I'll do anything for that tuition discount!
ReplyDeleteThat is priceless! Scotty gets a little embarrassed when he dances with anyone but me these days. I love the fact that he managed to change the channel to a good dance station. Scotty actually showed me the other day that you can turn our TV on with the DVD remote. Amazing what they figure out :)
ReplyDeleteOh no! He's already turned into a "man" with that remote! At least he was happy with his channel selection.
ReplyDeleteWe have to hide the remote in my house too! I love the picture, he really looks like a "little man". I love that he enjoys dancing and music that is great! I am a new follower!

On the bright side, at least it was dance tunes and not something totally and ridiculously inappropriate!
